I have a special affection for wedding cakes. I don’t know if it is because of the joy surrounding the event or the elaborately crafted wedding cakes with all their many flavors and fillings. But nothing is as exciting to me as the look on a brides face when she comes into her reception and gets a first look at her dream wedding cake.
Wedding cake history is long but the point remains the same. The cake symbolizes lushness and prosperity. A perfectly decorated wedding cake that matches both the couple and the venue always adds the final touch to a special day.
